Hardwood Warehouse
You will assist customers such as contractors and homeowners with the pulling and loading of their orders. You will pull and stage orders for customer pickup and delivery. You will assist in quality control of our products as well as packaging and stocking materials. You will help maintain inventory with regular inventory checks, and you are responsible for keeping work areas clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service is preferred.
- Previous forklift experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work with others and be a team player
- Good communication skills
- Able to lift heavy materials

Manufacturing Production Associate

Our manufacturing facility in Peninsula, Ohio, is where we produce a wide range of products, including standard and custom mouldings, S4S lumber, and wood components. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, including but not limited to moulders, planers, saws, and sanders.
- Read and interpret work orders, and specifications to determine production requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood according to specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet company standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
- Assist with the setup and changeover of machinery.
- Handle and move materials, including lifting and carrying lumber.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate woodworking machinery is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with specific woodworking machinery (e.g., Weinig moulders).
- Knowledge of different wood species and their properties.
- Forklift operation experience/certification.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
